The Garage

Concept / Brand Identity

The Garage is a community outreach project focusing on cities located within the Rust Belt region of the United States. The project converts abandoned buildings and factories in post-industrial neighborhoods into community garages for multi-use activities and education.

A garage-startup instruction manual is provided to those in the local community who are in charge of running the facility. The manual is meant to be customized by the garage members to best suit their use of the space. This includes choosing the type of workshops, events, and tools available within that particular garage.
